Observe, the photographer's credo, his for 5 years now. Observe, look around him, seize instants, dive into life. Rather unsociable by nature, Erick uses photography as a way to find his place in the world, to face it, and in a way, to be part of it.

He is, by definition, a humanist. He likes humans through their multiple cultures, their changing lifestyles and above all their ways of life: all specific and unique.

He constantly looks for the movement, catches it as it flies past, focuses it, retouches it: light, contrast, he mostly works black & white to best reflect the way he feels about what he sees. Take a moment, not for the beauty of the picture, but to immortalize it and find again the feeling left.

Self-educated, the growing urge and pleasure pushed him to learn by himself, gradually, through references to artists' books, methods but also through the mastering of processing software, not only for photographies, but also videos. He gained experience in this area by participating to short movies.

Passion defines his work, and although he took conscience of it quite recently, it drives him to always move forward.
